Hello!

My name is Alex and I am from Erlangen/Germany. I study energy engineering and in my free time I take some (mainly street) photos.

In February 2011 my photographic journey began, when I got my first DSLR, a Nikon D7000. While getting more into street photography, I realized, that I wanted something lighter, smaller and I already read about those strange, all manual rangefinders and read about MFT cameras. After reading several street photography blogs, watching videos, etc, I wanted to try a film Leica. So after some saving, in April 2012, I got myself a Leica M6 with a Voigtländer 35mm 1.4 SC.
